How long have you been on DeviantArt? 6 years
What does your username mean? Mademoiselle Ortie means "Miss Nettle" in French. I chose it because I wanted something close to Nature but not whinger or glamourous. Nettles can hurt but they can be very usefull if you can treat them the good way !
Describe yourself in three words. Artist. Crafter. Passionate in what I do. I live for creation. I'm a solitary soul, in love with Nature and someone peaceful.
Are you left or right handed? Right handed.
What was your first deviation? Well... I really don't remember !
What is your favourite type of art to create? Art for kids and illustrations of fairytales. All traditionnal or almost.
If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be? Mmmh I hesitate between digital art and photography.
What was your first favourite? The same... So long ago I can't remember ! There are too much pages to skip to know !
What type of art do you tend to favourite the most? Watercoloured illustrations
Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist? They are so many... Stephanie Pui-mun Law, Sylwia Telari, Larry Macdougall, Yanadhyana...
If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be? The same of course ! And some other great artists I follow, and everyone that may want to meet me.
How has a fellow deviant impacted your life? Deviantart increased my visibility, so I met wonderful persons and because of it I discovered a lot of very talented artists. I also recieved critics and cheerrs. I trully love this community ! The full community has impacted my life.
What are your preferred tools to create art? Watercolour, coloured pencils, acrylics.
What is the most inspirational place for you to create art? In a fantasy festival, in Nature, at home. The first for smiles and inspiration, the second for silent and beauty, the last for peace and the practical aspect to have everything around.
What is your favourite DeviantArt memory? I think it was my first daily deviation. I was so amazed and so thankful.
